"Here's the ball. Can I have the ball?"

Hand your child the ball.

"Do you feel this? It's now on your back, now on your leg, now on your hand."

Gently roll the ball on the child's back, leg, and hand

"I'm rolling the ball - look at it roll!

Let's go get it. We got it. Here's the ball.

I'm bouncing the ball - wow, it can bounce!"

Verbally label your actions. Encourage your child to get the ball. (Reach, crawl, turn)

"Here comes the ball!"
